Jesus straightened up and asked her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?”
(John 8:10-11 NIV)
“No one, sir,” she said.
“Then neither do I condemn you,” Jesus declared. “Go now and leave your life of sin.”
Jesus spared this woman from a death sentence she incurred for her sin. He then told her she was free to go—with the caveat to sin no more.
ACTION: Reflect. We, too, have been saved from a death sentence for our sins. How will you respond to Christ’s mercy and grace?
