For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
(John 3:16-17 NIV)
This doesn’t say that God so loved His people. It says “God so loved the world.” His desire is to save the world, not condemn it.
ACTION: Reflect. What does the world need in order to be saved? How might God be calling you to respond to this?
