“We remember the fish we ate in Egypt at no cost—also the cucumbers, melons, leeks, onions and garlic. But now we have lost our appetite; we never see anything but this manna!”
(Numbers 11:5-6 NIV)
The Israelites, after being rescued from bondage in Egypt, were now free, living on manna that God provided daily. Yet, they grumbled about losing the few comforts they once knew. Would they rather remain in captivity than live in God’s freedom?
ACTION: Reflect. Is there anything you still need to let go of as you follow Jesus—anything keeping you bound, hindering you from fully enjoying your freedom in Christ?
